This is a easy and delicious fried ramen I cooked the other day and serve it with black pepper beer chicken. This packet of ramen was given to me by my neighbour last year....lol...hopes she don't see this.
Ingredients ( serves 4 )
1 packet of egg ramen
2 medium size eggs ( beaten and seasoned with salt , pepper and light soy sauce )
1 can of stewed pork ( cut into smaller pieces )
3 stalks spring onion ( shredded )
1 fresh red chili ( shredded )
1 tablespoon minced garlic
3 tablespoon oyster sauce
Half cup chicken broth
4 tablespoon light soy sauce
Method
Boil egg ramen in water till soft and loosen. Drain ramen properly and set aside.
Pan fry beaten eggs into omelet , dish up and shred it , keep aside.
Sautee minced garlic in a hot wok with some oil till fragrant and golden , add in stewed pork follow by ramen. Fry over high heat and take care not to burnt it. Add in seasoning and chicken broth and continue to fry over medium heat till well combined and sauce thicken and almost dries up. Garnish with shredded chili and spring onion and shredded eggs. Serve hot immediately.

stewed pork in a can? that is different! that looks like a good dish i could serve up for my Japanese friend!
Oh...I like this! Almost the same using the stewed pork leg with fried mee hoon, isn't it.
Oh I use beehoon for this, need to stock up on the stew pork soon :)
That canned pork! LOL! Is it from Xiamen (Amoy)? Oh man.....everything you cooked look so familiar!
Angie , this is Gulong Brand...lol...I fried this with bee hoon too
Yes, gulong canned food are from Xiamen (where I am from). :-))) You should try its canned pork knuckle. Another must try is minced pork. :-)))
Gulong is probably the only canned food I eat when I was in Xiamen. Actually I brought two canned black beans and minced meat to Germany (sounds quite ridiculous) when I last visited my mum.
Oh Angie I love braised bee hoon with canned pork knuckle and also spicy 肉酱 to go with plain porridge...yummy...now I know you are from Xiamen... you are such a talented cook
I not so often cook this way, hubby doesn't like canned foods much.
My hubby will love this, he loves that canned pork. Since the malachite green scare about canned food from China, we cut down a lot on these foods.
that looks so good. My monkeys love ramen and I even make it as an after school snack for them.
Looks awesome. I wish I could get ramen like that around here! All I can get is the dried packets. Sigh.
My monkeys love ramen and I give it them as an after school snack sometimes.
I never cook this but good idea for me when we are staying in service apt in M'sia n S'pore. Thank you for sharing Pearlyn. I'll try this soon.;)
